a few weeks back i picked up a copy of visvim’s latest dissertation, entitled Disseration on Correlations Existent within Social Constructs and Product Output. visvim dissertations are founder hiroki nakamura’s elaborate and detailed way of presenting his new collection as well as the philosophy that inspires and surrounds it. visvim is easily one of my favorite brand and the quarterly dissertation represents why. full of detail, care, and sophistication so characteristic of the japanese, each new book reflects a brand that truly cares about the art and philosophy of design and product development. american brands could learn a lot from mr. nakamura and his company.
