Well my friends and bedfellows I must bid you a prolonged and sustained adieu for I will be traveling abroad in these coming months, not of my own volition mind you. I shall return with tales of heraldry and friendship. In which time I will be cultivating my thoughts and ideas and posting them via paper correspondance to one Mr. Eyecue. Simultaneously I will be keeping body, mind and spirit sharp so upon my return a meeting of the minds will commence that will be of epic magnitude. But until then sufficed to say I will be fighting my own battles literally and figuratively. So until then do not wait up for me for I am the king of the night and I will command everything under the stars. Peace be onto you all

In light of Jesus’ resurrection, I have been granted an extended escape from this place they refer to as “the Rock”. I have an acquaintance that inhabits the land of wooden shit kickers and have been talking of a small link-up. Aside from the copious amounts of illicit substances and guilt-free coitus I was going to see what the hip hype was lingering up there. On the list were perhaps the Rijksmuseum and some nightlife as per www.superfuture.com. After that I will try to see what I can extrapolate from my lady friend and the NY Times article that will be a guide, which unlike Frommer’s does not require you to wear a weak ass neck wallet deal. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah and a post should be coming up soon about my new hood, thats mit Wintergarten…damn thats what a playa must smell like.

Something Old:
I was thumbing through my digital library and found a classic that I always enjoy. Sergio Mendes, any album, is what you need in the morning to an extra kick. Samba gets my bells ringing anytime of day
Something New:
Kate Nash- Made of Bricks
This little siren of the isle brings a catchy and melancholic brand of pop that I rather enjoy. Tunes like “Dickhead” reveal what I have suspected all along, Dickheads are fucking up situations. British foxes do it to me in the worst way
Something Fucking Rediculous:
DJ Mathematics presents Wu-Tang Returns (8 Diagrams)
This album feels like Doogie Howser M.D. defibrilated me out of coma of whack. Wu-Tang stays in my musical orbit and we have another hearty contributor to the stacks. Rae-Rae and Face back on their grind and its money like cocaine in a coffee pot (thats how you make crack, for you herbicides). I suggest all drop an ear to the streets but don’t get no nasty ABC gum on your gore-tex.

Woke Up This Morning…

Realizing that this is usually one of the keystone (no reference intended) events for the consortium I felt it necessary to link all up by any node necessary to share the plans for the upcoming MMVIII. I know we have separated to achieve independent endeavors but much like the cosmos all returns to the largest mass that being the mighty Vilseck. That is neither here nor there what is on my eventual horizons is a settling down in my future with a little mistress named destiny. As I stumble my way through the Georgia school for adolescent males and finish my training I will hopefully return to Germany and begin somewhat of a basal lifestyle and furnish my queendom in animal hides and fine wines. I know my postings are sparse but enjoy them because of the uncertainty that another may not follow (and that said with the confidence of a Jay-Z retirement declaration). Oh and of course the obligatory .. have a MEDIOCRE NEW YEAR!!!

Fashion Sleeper of the Month

With all of the hype around Ahmadinejad’s visit to the fashion capital I thought it only fitting to give him the shout out as our Fashion Sleeper of the Month. The theme screams business casual. Slacks complimented with some sort of loafer topped off with a patterned shirt (pop that top button cause its casual right) and a sportcoat. The color scheme is earthtones that say, “Hey, I may be a sand rascal but I am also elegant”. I guess you can have your khubs and eat it too.
