i’m the most normal person i know

in chris anthony’s latest project entitled ‘i’m the most normal person i know’ he creates odd and unsettling photographs using antique clothing, mannequins and eerie locations. the photos capture the adolescent fear of mannequins and masks; the strangeness of a lifeless human form and blank visage. the chill that runs up your spine is the rush you had as a child in an empty, stale manor house where nothing was really scary yet everything seemed slightly odd and there was a prevailing feeling of strangeness. it’s a feeling that i miss in these days of desensitization and unreal gore. like a good david lynch film, chris anthony’s latest work gets under your skin to that place where the chill resides – the psychological fright not the physical. enjoy
